Ronald R. Zamsky

Ronald R. Zamsky, age 75, of Carriere died Wednesday, March 18, 2009

in a motorcycle accident near Utica, MS.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 AM

at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,

with Father Michael Snyder officiating.

 

The visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on

Friday, March 20th at Picayune Funeral Home.

 

Ronald, formerly of Wisconsin, was employed as a

machinist at Fan Steel Metallurgical for 34 years and

Cherry Electric for 5 years before retiring. 

He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.  Ron loved doing woodworking

and was the family’s “Mr. Fix-it”.  He was very unselfish and

a totally devoted husband for 53 years.

 

He is survived by

his wife, Janet Zamsky of Carriere;

 three sons, Robert Zamsky of Wisconsin,

Michael Zamsky of Carriere and

Timothy Zamsky of Wisconsin;

two daughters, Mary Farley of Wisconsin and

Amanda Zamsky of Carriere;

one brother, Steve Zamsky of Carriere;

ten grandchildren and

seven great-grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by

his parents, Alfred Zamsky and Mary Boyagich Zamsky;

daughter, Joan Zamsky; and

sister, Anna Pantovich.
