Herman DaNeal “Lioux” Pittman

October 16, 1939 – November 15, 2009

Herman DaNeal “Lioux” Pittman, age 70 of Picayune passed

away Sunday, November 15, 2009 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, November 18th

at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Pearl River, 64541 Hwy. 3081,

Pearl River, LA. Bro. Waller will be officiating.

“Lioux”, a native of St. Tammany Parish, LA, moved here

from Alaska in 1998. He was a radio technician for

the State of Alaska and an offshore oil researcher

who worked all over the world. He was in the

U.S. Air Force stationed in Greenland and

a member of the First Baptist Church of Goleta, CA.

Survivors include

his wife of 49 years, Jo Ann Peck Pittman of Picayune

four daughters, Kimberly Ann Pittman of California

LeAnn Smith of Alaska

June Erlene Pittman of Alaska

K. Marie Wells of Kentucky

one brother, Herbert Ray Pittman of Louisiana

sister-in-law, Yvonne Heron of Louisiana

two granddaughters, Shauna Pittman Zollner

Crystal Dawson Smith, both of Alaska

one grandson, Lawerence DaNeal Smith of Alaska

one aunt, Myrna Loy Hutto of Picayune.
