Richard Lyle Murry

August 22, 1937 - January 27, 2009

Richard Lyle Murry, age 71, of Carriere passed away

Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at his residence.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, February 3rd

at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,

with Father Michael Snyder officiating.

Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 2nd at

Picayune Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Richard, a native of Minnesota, retired from the U.S. Army

and from Tulane University Hospital. He is also a member

of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

He is survived by

his wife, Mildred Murry of Carriere;

sons, Kenneth L. Murry of Louisiana,

Sidney L. Murry of New Mexico and

William M. Murry of Carriere;

daughter, Lucy A. Murry of Carriere;

brother, Gerald W. Murry of Minnesota;

six grandchildren; and

seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by

his parents, Edward Lyle and Sarah Murry and

son, Eugene Murry.
