Renelda Mary Marchand, age 75, of Carriere passed away

Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m.

at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,

with Father Michael Snyder officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 14th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Marchand, a native of New Orleans, LA, was a sales clerk

at TG&Y and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

She is survived by

her husband, Joseph Marchand, Sr.;

children, Joseph Marchand, Jr. of Poplarville,

Michael Marchand of Pearl River, LA,

Richard Marchand of Mandeville, LA,

Deborah Marchand of Pearl River, LA and

David Marchand of Carriere;

two sisters, Gay Rita Lee of Louisiana and

Jeanne Hingle of Picayune;

thirteen grandchildren,

thirteen great-grandchildren and

four great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

her parents, Lloyd and Orlea Jastram and

brother, Edlui Jackson.
