Walter Demman Jenkins, I, age 52, of Carriere passed

away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 14th

from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Church of God of Prophecy,

1811 E. Canal St., Picayune.

Walter was born in Beaumont, TX and had lived in this area all his life.

He is survived by

his mother, Ida Mae Sander of Nicholson

two sons, Walter Jenkins, II of Carriere

Phillip Jenkins of Carriere

two daughters, Crimson Ta Pershing of Carriere

Hope Childress of Leesville, LA

two brothers, Tommy Jenkins of McNeill

Carley Jenkins of Walkiah Bluff

two sisters, Lona Elizabeth Stockstill of Carriere

Sally Mae Walker of Nicholson

eight grandchildren.
