Claude L. Hendrix

December 30, 1918 – May 21, 2009

Claude L. Hendrix, age 90, of Picayune passed away

Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 24th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

at Picayune Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 25th

at 10:00 a.m. at Carriere Cemetery, with Bro. G. A. McCoy and

Bro. Billy Galloway officiating.

Mr. Hendrix, a lifetime resident of the area, was a

U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, a member and

a deacon for many years of First Baptist Church of Ozona.

He is survived by

his wife, Betty Hendrix of Picayune

a son, Raymond David Hendrix of Carriere

three step-sons, Keith Martinez of Picayune

Kevin Martinez of Picayune

Kent Martinez of Picayune

four daughters, Edna Eastin of Picayune

Claudia Gower of Carriere

Karen Sue Billodeaux of Baton Rouge

Charlotte Campbell of Carriere

a step-daughter, Kathy Bounds of Carriere

twenty-five grandchildren

thirty-eight great-grandchildren

one great-great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by

a son, Kenneth Levon Hendrix

a daughter, Cynthia Diane Hendrix

a granddaughter, Ashley Hendrix

mother of his children, Hilda Faye Hendrix

a brother, Charles Hendrix

his parents, Charles and Effie Hendrix.
