Charles Edward Davis, age 80 of Picayune

passed away Friday, August 14, 2009

at the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe, LA.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Picayune Church of God

with Rev. Michael Brown officiating, assisted by Bro. Jeff Davis.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2009

from 1:00 until time of service at the church.

Burial will be at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Charles was a carpenter, a member of

Victory Temple Church of God

and had lived in Picayune since 1943.

He is survived by

his Wife of 59 years, Rosie Lee Burns Davis of Picayune

one Daughter, Ester Dianne Stockstill of Picayune

two Sisters, Hilda and Mary

three Grandchildren, Francis (Reese) Spiers, Jr

Rodney Shane Spiers

Theresa “Tesa” Dianne Wells

five Great-Grandchildren, Aaron Spiers

Ryan Spiers

Michael Wells II

Alyssa Mitchell

Darianne Schierholz.

He was preceded in death by:

his Parents, James Randolph Davis

Cora Lee Perrette Davis

one Brother, Adolph Wilson Davis and

two Sisters, Gussi and Elizabeth.
