Ursula Soniat Du Fossat Cantrell

April 11, 1934 – January 23, 2009

Ursula Soniat Du Fossat Cantrell, age 74, of Picayune passed away

Friday January 23, 2009 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 27th

at 12:00 noon at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel

with Father Michael Snyder officiating,

assisted by Bro. Cedric Lumpkin.

Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell, LA,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27th at Picayune Funeral Home

from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Cantrell, a native of New Orleans, was

a homemaker and a Catholic.

She is survived by

her husband, Carl Cantrell of Picayune;

five children, Carla Jean Cantrell of Charleston, SC,

Joseph Cree Cantrell of Picayune,

Carolyn Marie Martin of Lacombe, LA,

Renee’ Lumpkin of Walker, LA and

Michelle Louise Jarrell of Picayune;

sister, Irene Louise Held of Loranger, LA;

five grandchildren, Kelli, Heather,

Brittany, Ashley, and Danielle and

two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Colton.
