Beula “Bee” Spiers

June 14, 1917 – March 26, 2008

Beula “Bee” Spiers, age 90, of Carriere passed away

Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29th at 11:00 a.m.

at Burgetown Church, with Elder Frank Spiers officiating.

Burial will follow in Burgetown Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, March 28th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

at Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spiers, a lifelong resident of the area, was a homemaker

and a member of the Burgetown Church.

She is survived by

three daughters, Mary Snelgrove of Carriere,

Beverly Culpepper of Poplarville and

Eula Faye Lee of Picayune;

brother, Dalton Humphrey of Albuquerque, NM;

two sisters, Sally Good of Port Arthur, TX and

Thyra Hicks of Silsbee, TX;

twenty-two grandchildren;

forty-nine great-grandchildren; and

thirty-eight great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

her husband, K.C. Spiers;

two sons, James Basil Spiers and

Kenneth Cordell Spiers and

daughter, Vivian Lee Quave.
