Diane Nitz Songy

Diane Nitz Songy, age 61, of Picayune,

passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008

at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Her funeral service will be at Noon on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Phillip Deogracias officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 10 a.m. - 12:00 noon at

Picayune Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Diane, a native of Detroit, Michigan, moved to Picayune from Chalmette, Louisiana five years ago. She was a homemaker and a member

of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune.

She is survived by:

her mother, Ouigi Nitz of Picayune, MS.

her husband, Jerry Songy of Picayune, MS.

four daughters, Tiffany Barlett of St. Bernard, LA.

Brandy Martinez of Picayune, MS.

Angela Mones of Picayune, MS.

Rhonda Barlett of New Orleans, LA.

one brother, Larry Gauthe of Hawaii

one sister, Bobette Gauthe of New Orleans, LA.

five grandchildren, Colby Barlett, Bryce Mones,

Mallarie Torres, Jannings Martinez, and Dawson Martinez.
