Emmie Smith, age 83, of Picayune passed away

Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Covenant Health & Rehab of Picayune.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1st at 3:00 p.m.

at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Sycamore Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st

from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith, a lifetime resident of the area,

was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by

two sons, Doug Smith of Picayune and

James Ira Smith of Picayune;

two daughters, Sue Anglin of Bush, LA and

Patricia Durapau of Picayune;

brother, John Ryals of Lumberton;

sister, Candy Ryals of California;

nine grandchildren;

twenty-three great grandchildren and

one great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by

her husband of 42 years, Edo Smith;

son, Charles Smith and

one grandson.
