Iola Shay

November 28, 1914 – January 19, 2008

Iola Shay, age 93, of Picayune passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008

at Covenant Health & Rehab in Picayune.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 22nd at 3:00 PM

at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Shay, a native of Scooba, MS, came to this area from

Kentwood, LA in 1972. She is a member of the

Flattop Unity Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by

her son, Patrick Earl Shay of Grand Prairie, TX;

daughter, Lottie Maynard of Picayune;

two sisters, Lottie Sebren and

Cecile Davis, both of Roanoke Rapids, NC;

six grandchildren;

ten great grandchildren; and

two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

her husband, James Shay.
