Van Curtis Loveless, Sr.

September 14, 1937 – February 4, 2007

 

Van Curtis Loveless, Sr., age 70, of Carriere died Monday, February 4, 2008

at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.

 

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 8th

at 2:30 PM at West Union Baptist Church,

with Bro. Bud Putnam and Bro. Paul Hill officiating. 

 

Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

 

Visitation will be Friday, February 8th from 11:30 AM

until time of service at West Union Baptist Church

 

Van Curtis was a Building Inspector for Pearl River County,

a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of West Union Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by

his wife, Barbara Jean Loveless;

son, Van Curtis Loveless, Jr. of Carriere;

three daughters, Pamela Jean DeWoody of Nashville, TN,

Mary Susan Alexander of Poplarville and

Terri Lynn Kerry of Carriere;

four sisters, Thelma Gilis of Bay St. Louis,

Mary Smith of Carriere,

Dimple Holston of Poplarville and

Dorothy Mangum of Mendenhall;

ten grandchildren and

two great grandchildren.

 

He is preceded in death by

his parents, Van Pickering and Claira Mae Loveless;

brother, Edward Leonard and

two sisters, Cammie Leonard and

Ruby Donath.
