William Andrew Gasper, age 86, of Picayune passed away
Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at
A funeral mass will be held
Friday, July 18th at 11:00 a.m.
at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,
with Father John Noone officiating.
Visitation will be Friday,
July 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Burial will be at
Mr. Gasper, a resident of
Picayune since 1951, was a carpenter,
a Coast Guard World War II
veteran, a member of the VFW,
a charter member of the Knights
of Columbus and
a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and is survived by
his wife, Muriel Fay Gasper of
Picayune;
four sons, Gerald James Gasper of
Petal, MS,
Andrew William Gasper of
Picayune,
Curtis Christopher Gasper of
Bay
two daughters, Linda Gasper Tufaro of Picayune and
Jean Gasper Cuevas of Kiln;
one brother, James Edwin Gasper of
eight grandchildren, Eugene Cuevas, William
Cuevas,
Christine LeBlanc, Joshua
Gasper, Kayla Gasper,
Jonathan Gasper, Matthew Gasper and Kyle
Joseph Gasper;
and three great-grandchildren, Olivia Cuevas,
Isaac Cuevas
and Julie Cuevas.
He was preceded in death by
his brother, Maurice Curtis Gasper.
