Mary Delaune

August 4, 1946 – August 6, 2008

Mary Delaune, age 62, of Carriere passed away Wednesday, August 06, 2008

at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

The funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m.

at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,

with Father Michael Snyder officiating.

Burial will follow at Henleyfield Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 8th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

at Picayune Funeral Home.

Mary, a former resident of New Orleans, LA, was a homemaker and

a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

She loved sewing and reading.

She is survived by

her husband of 46 years, Stanley Delaune, Jr. of Carriere;

four sons, Christopher Delaune of Varnado, LA,

Paul Delaune of Marrero, LA,

Keith Delaune of Poplarville, and

Stanley Delaune, III of Picayune;

four daughters, Margaret Magee of Carriere,

Katherine Delaune of Carriere,

Staci Williams of Poplarville and

Priscilla Gray of Alexandria, VA;

two brothers, Warren and Eugene Cheramie;

ten sisters, Joan Ann Walker, Carolyn Vernin,

Marleen Heaton, Linda Alexander,

Dianne Hebert, Karen Cheramie,

Toni Bennett, Charleen Berger,

Trudy Rippy and Betty Burnett;

fourteen grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Brandon,

Ashley, Mary Rose, Allen, Paul, Jr., Bradley,

Matthew, Colton, Keith II, Bethany,

Ciatlyn, Gabrielle, and Malachi; and

three great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

two granddaughters, Hannah Delaune and Shelbi Williams.
