Alice Lavigne Creel

August 29, 1952 – August 2, 2008

Alice Lavigne Creel, age 55, of Anniston, AL passed away

Saturday, August 2, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 6th at 10:00 a.m.

at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rayburn Deese officiating.

Burial will follow at Gipson Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 5th from

6:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.

Alice, former resident of Picayune, was a homemaker and

a member of White Chapel Church of God.

She is survived by

two sons, Justin Creel of Anniston, AL and

Bobby James Creel, Jr. of Picayune;

daughter, Sarah Creel Preston of Anniston, AL;

three brothers, Willie Robert Lavigne,

John Henry Lavigne and

Steve Lavigne, all of Picayune;

three sisters, Glenda Alligood of Picayune,

Linda Pitre of Picayune and

Faye Bradshaw of Anniston, AL; and

eight grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

her parents, Robert and Ena Mae Lavigne;

sisters, Margie Kay Brown and

Addie Mae Lavigne;

brothers, Harold Lavigne,

Hooper Lavigne and

Albert “Shorty” Lavigne and

her second husband, Arthur Delaney.
