Patrick Garrett Bell, Jr.

August 20, 1934 – September 4, 2008

Patrick Garrett Bell, Jr., age 74, of Carriere passed away

Thursday, September 4, 2008 at his residence.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6th at 11:00 a.m.

at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,

with Father Michael Snyder officiating.

Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church

on Saturday, September 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Pat, a native of New Orleans, LA, was a truck driver for Missouri Pacific,

a U.S. Army veteran and a member of

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

He is survived by

his wife, Lydia Bell of Carriere;

son, Patrick Bell of Purvis,

two daughters, Belinda Giovengo of Carriere and

Lisa Bell of Mandeville, LA;

two sisters, Mary Bell Mariakis of Wisconsin and

Colleen Sellars of Runnelstown, MS;

fourteen grandchildren and

five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by

his son, Edward Garrett Bell and

sister, Charlotte Maher.
