Huey “Dauber” Taylor

October 10, 1938 – July 16, 2007

 

Huey “Dauber” Taylor, age 68, of Carriere, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at his residence.

 

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 20th, at 10:00 AM

at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,

with Bro. Brad Miles and Bro. Jewell Prince officiating at the service. 

 

Visitation will be Thursday, July 19th from 6-9 PM at Picayune Funeral Home. 

 

Burial will be at Lee‘s Chapel #1 Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

 

“Dauber”, a lifelong resident of Carriere, was a self-employed carpenter and a Baptist.

 

He is survived by

his wife, Susan Burnette Taylor of Carriere;

 three daughters, Debbie Taylor,

Mary Taylor and

Rebekah Lynn Taylor Provost of Pearl River, LA;

one step-daughter, Janice Rester of Carriere;

three step-sons, Michael G. Burnette of Carriere,

Joseph E. Burnette of Picayune, and

Robert Wheat of Crossroads;

two brothers, Willie J. Taylor of Picayune and

Harold L. Taylor of Carriere;

four sisters, Margie Thornhill of Wiggins,

Dorothy Nell Lumpkin of Carriere,

Christine Prince of Carriere, and

Betty Jean Coon of Jayess, MS;

five grandchildren; and

eight step-grandchildren.

 

He is preceded in death by

his parents, Lawson and Hettie Taylor.
