Vannie S. Spiers

Vannie S. Spiers, age 68, of McNeill, died Monday, October 22, 2007

at Highland Community Hospital, Picayune.

The funeral services will be held Thursday, October 25th at 11:00 AM

at First Baptist Church of McNeill,

with Bro. Tim Parker officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24th from 6-9 PM

at Picayune Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Spiers Family Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Vannie, a lifetime resident of the area, worked at

Nature’s Gardens Creations and was a member of

First Baptist Church of McNeill.

She is survived by

her husband, Harlan Spiers of McNeill;

son, Jeffery Spiers of Leetown;

daughter, Angelia Pierce of McNeill;

two brothers, George Spence of Caesar and

Billy Ray Spence of Caesar;

two sisters, Elaine Wierengo of Columbus, MS and

Janice Mitchell of Caesar;

four grandchildren, Melonie Smith, Daniel Spiers,

Mandy Thompson and Ryan Pierce; and

two great grandchildren, Diana Kaye Smith and

Jonathan Thompson.

She is preceded in death by

her parents, Van B. Spence and Helen Spence.
