Eugene “Jean” Spiers

June 13, 1924 – April 29, 2007

Eugene “Jean“ Spiers, age 82, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at

Covenant Health & Rehab, Picayune, MS.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 2 PM at

First Baptist Church of Nicholson, with Bro. Danny Nance officiating at the service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1st, from 6-9 PM at Picayune Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Old Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs.Spiers, a lifetime resident of Picayune, was a homemaker and a

member of First Baptist Church of Nicholson.

She is survived by

one son, Thomas “Snuffy“ Spiers of Carriere;

one step-son, Sammy Spiers of Carriere;

one daughter, Penny Moody of Picayune;

two step-daughters, Judy Smith of McNeill and Sandra Giadrosich of Carriere;

two sisters, Jackie Stockstill of Hillsdale and Jerry Odom of Nicholson;

five grandchildren, Carrie, Kelly, Chris, Brandon, and Casey;

nine step-grandchildren; and

five great grandchildren, Bryson, Olivia, Alex, Jeweliann, and Lathun.

She is preceded in death by

her parents, Dennis and Frances Seal,

her husband, Samuel C. Spiers, and

one brother, Joe Seal.
