Edward L. Seal

April 18, 1924 – August 13, 2007

Edward L. Seal, age 83, died Monday, August 13, 2007 at his residence in Carriere.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15th from 6-8 PM

at Picayune Funeral Home. A private burial service will be held.

Edward lived in the Picayune area for most of his life. He was a

computer specialist with the Federal Civil Service,

U. S. Marine veteran of World War II,

member of First Baptist Church of Carriere,

and the Masonic Lodge of Carriere.

He did a great deal of research on the genealogy of the Seal Family,

which resulted in the publication of two books. One of his books

was very recently published and can be found in the Crosby Library.

He is survived by

his wife, Myrle Faye Seal;

two sons, John Seal, his wife, Jill of Montgomery, MN and

Douglas Seal, his wife, Michele of Folsom, LA; and

six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by

his parents, Amos and Minnie Albritton Seal and

a son, Brian Seal.
