Ruby Ann Mitchell Ryan

October 22, 1931 – November 5, 2007

Ruby Ann Mitchell Ryan, age 76, of Picayune died

Monday, November 5, 2007 at her residence.

The funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8th

at 10:00 AM at Flattop Unity Baptist Church,

with Bro. Carl Myers and Bro. Randy Shaw officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7th from

6:00 to 9:00 PM at Picayune Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Old Palestine Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Ruby was very active in her church, Flattop Unity Baptist Church.

She regularly did the Bible puzzles in the local paper and

had won several Bibles for her family. She enjoyed quilting, canning

and doing word search puzzles.

She is survived by

three brothers, Michael W. Mitchell, Henry “Mitch” Mitchell and

George “Shorty” Mitchell, all of Picayune, and

one sister, Linda Faye Mitchell of Picayune.

She is preceded in death by

her husband, Jim Ryan;

three brothers, Monroe Mitchell, Otha Mitchell and Luther Mitchell; and

two sisters, Virginia Mitchell and Margaret Mitchell.
