Georgia Lee Roach

September 28, 1944 – June 30, 2007

Private memorial services will be held at a later date for

Georgia Lee Roach, age 62, of Picayune who passed away

Saturday, June 30, 2007 at her residence.

Georgia, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, was a waitress and a Baptist.

She is preceded in death by

her parents, George and Ruby Roe and

her sister, Sally May Harris.

She is survived by

two sons, James Millis and Kenneth Ray Granillo both of Picayune;

one daughter, Christina Marie Malpas of Picayune;

 three brothers, Winston Ray Kellar of Ozona, Elton Ray Kellar of Nicholson,

and Larry Wayne Kellar of Poplarville; and

grandchildren, John G. Malpas, Megean Millis and

Kenneth’s two adopted children.

A message from her grandson:  You never know how much someone

truly means to you until they’re gone.  My Grandmother loved her dogs,

eating chocolate, playing Nintendo and cards, watching cartoons on

Saturday morning and smoking cigarettes.  She never came to grips that

one of the things she loved the most would ultimately bring her to a slow,

painful end.  As I have grown to know the real Georgia, I have been shown

 that even a person who is a little tough to deal with and stubborn sometimes,

is capable of loving someone as imperfect as I am.

On the inside, my Grandmother was a wonderful person.  Everyone should

be so lucky to have a Grandmother like mine.  To me she was the type of

person who would share her last dollar with you.  There is nothing

she wouldn’t do for me and my Grandmother will always be in my heart.

I hope she knows how much I love her, because she truly was a special person.

All my love, your one and only Grandson,

John Malpas
