Edward W. Riggs, age 64, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in Picayune, MS.

The funeral service will be Friday, March 2nd at 11:30 AM at Picayune Funeral

Home Chapel, with Rev. John McCay officiating at the service.

Visitation will be Friday, March 2nd from 10:30 AM until time of service.

Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Ed was born in New Orleans, LA and moved to this area from Pearl River, LA.

He was employed at Henderson Ford as Operations Safety & Security Manager,

was a Deputy for Hancock County and

a former Deputy and EMT for St. Bernard Parish.

He had High Security Clearance with Boeing Aircraft and the Secret Service.

He served on President Bush’s motorcade on a visit to Mississippi.

He attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Ed had a servant’s heart and never sought recognition.

He is survived by:

his wife, Dianna Riggs, of Picayune;

his mother, Frieda Riggs Miller of Picayune;

one daughter, Deborah Ann Riggs Bennett, of Picayune;

one granddaughter, Leia Mari Bennett, of Picayune

many extended family members

and a host of friends.
