Flora Bell Powell

Flora Bell Powell of Picayune, age 88, died Monday, November 26, 2007

at Highland Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1st at 10:00 AM

at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Arlis Grice officiating.

Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at Mt. Horeb Church Cemetery,

25 Mt. Horeb Rd., Collins, MS.

Mrs. Powell, a resident here for 42 years, was a member of

Goodyear Baptist Church and the Busy Bee Homemaker’s Club.

She is survived by

her husband of 64 years, W. E. Powell of Picayune;

one son, Donald Powell of Lafayette, LA;

two daughters, Peggy Sanford of Tallahassee, FL and

Nancy Powell of Colorado Springs, CO;

six grandchildren, Jacob Sanford, Daniel Sanford,

Nathan Rabins, Michael Rabins, Wesley Powell and Steve Powell; and

eight great grandchildren.
