Willie “Granny Bill” Phillips

Willie “Granny Bill” Phillips, age 90, of Picayune died

Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at

Northshore Regional Medical Center in Slidell, LA.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28th

from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Picayune Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 1st

at Springlake Cemetery, Earth, TX.

“Granny Bill”, born in Rawls, TX, moved to this area

eighteen years ago from Muleshoe, TX. She was a homemaker

and a member of Springlake Baptist Church.

She is survived by:

two sons, A. J. Phillips of Brownfield, TX and

Weldon Phillips of Cartersville, GA;

one daughter, Lawanda Pruitt of Picayune;

one sister, Ida Collier of Scurry, TX;

seven grandchildren and

eleven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

her husband, Foster Phillips and

two sisters, Mae Phillips and Irene King.
