Martha Sue Murphree

March 5, 1929 – March 11, 2007

Martha Sue Murphree, age 78, died Sunday, March 11, 2007 at her home in Picayune, MS.

The funeral service will be Friday, March 16th at 11 AM at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,

with Rev. William Gary Smith officiating at the service.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 15th from 6-9 PM at Picayune Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Mrs. Murphree was born in Sarpetta, MS and moved to this area from Bruce, MS forty years ago. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by:

her husband, Hoyt Murphree of Picayune;

two sons, Dustin Lamon Murphree of Picayune

and Logan Ray Stockstill of Picayune;

three daughters, Deborah Tate of Picayune,

Barborah Murphree of Picayune and

Derenda Murphree of Picayune;

two brothers, Billy Logan Grist of Bruce, MS and

Donald Grist of Oxford, MS;

two grandchildren and

four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mikki Murphree.
