1940 he joined the Army and served in World War II in the Rainbow Division in

was a life member of National Rifle Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars,
American Legion, Alan B. Carter Post of
member of First Baptist Church of Picayune.
He
is survived by:
his wife
of sixty-five years, Sarah N. Cooper McNeese of Carriere;
two sons,
John C. McNeese of
Robert
T. McNeese of
one daughter, Charlotte M. Johnston of Picayune;
three grandchildren,
Jill J. Lee,
Jaime
J. Mitchell, and
Timm C. McNeese; and
four great-grandchildren, Braxton R. Lee,
