Riley Vernon “R.V.” Langston

Riley Vernon “R.V.” Langston, age 78, died Sunday, February 11, 2007

at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 13th at 2:00 PM at

Unity Baptist Church, Picayune. Rev. Kent MeGehee will officiate at the service,

assisted by Rev. Bud Putman. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, February 13th at Unity Baptist Church.

R.V., a resident of Picayune, was a heavy equipment operator and

a member of Unity Baptist Church, Picayune.

He is survived by:

his wife, Arlene Langston, Picayune, MS;

two sons, Riley Wayne Langston, Picayune, MS and

Alan Douglas Smith, Picayune, MS;

four daughters, Debbie Comeaux, Bay St. Louis, MS,

Pamela Wilson, Diamondhead, MS,

Michele Bond, Carriere, MS, and

Carla Smith, Picayune, MS;

four sisters, Dorla Metz, Carthage, MS,

Patsy Spears, Carthage, MS,

Helen Walker, Carthage, MS and

Linda Clark, Carthage, MS;

twelve grandchildren and

two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by:

one son, Mark Anthony Langston and

one grandson, Justin.
