Eugene Edward Ladriere

September 26, 1927 – May 5, 2007

Eugene Edward Ladriere, age 79, of Picayune died Saturday, May 5, 2007

at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 11 AM at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,

with visitation from 10 AM until time of service.

Rev. Stephen Bryant will officiate at the service.

Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the

direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will also be Tuesday, May 8th from 6-9 PM at

Picayune Funeral Home, with Masonic rites.

Mr. Ladriere was a retired Operation Manager with Zim American,

a veteran of the Coast Guard-Merchant Marine during World War II,

a U. S. Army veteran and a Methodist.

He is survived by

one son, Robert Ladriere;

two daughters Suzanne (Eric) Hickman of Albany, LA

and Donna (Will) Smith of Maysville, NC;

son-in-law, Michael Polk;

five grandchildren;

five great grandchildren; and

a special friend, Mary Reavis.

He is preceded in death by

his wife, Gloria Ladriere;

daughter, Kathy Merritt;

sister, Gertrude Sachse and

grandson, Gary Durbin.
