Myrtle Mary Jeansonne

September 24, 1930 – May 8, 2007

Myrtle Mary Jeansonne, age 76, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at

Highland Community Hospital, Picayune, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 10^th at 3:00 PM at the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.

Father Mike Snyder will officiate at the service, with burial following in Memorial Gardens Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 10^th from 2 PM until time of services.

Mrs. Jeansonne, a resident of Carriere, was a homemaker and a member of

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She and her husband Earl were married

Sept. 7, 1947 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in New Orleans and had enjoyed nearly 60 years of marriage.

She is survived by

her husband, Earl Jeansonne of Carriere, MS;

two sons, Roger Jeansonne of Marrero, LA and John Jeansonne of Carriere, MS;

one daughter, Tina Marchand of Birmingham, AL;

one brother, Paul Lacey Dupont of Tennessee;

one sister, Geneva Newman; and

five grandchildren, Becky Todaro, Angel Marchand, Jody Jeansonne,

Tiffany Marchand and Jenna Jeansonne.

She is preceded in death by

her parents, Woodruff and Hattie Dupont;

one brother, Elwood Dupont; and

one sister, Mildred Bihm.
