Florence C. Hunter

Florence Hunter, age 73, of Picayune died Saturday, November 10, 2007

at Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe, LA.

The funeral mass service will be held Thursday, November 15th at 10:00 AM

at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with Father Mike Snyder officiating.

A rosary will be held at the church starting at 9:30 AM.

The visitation will be at Picayune Funeral Home on

Wednesday, November 14th, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.

Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery

Florence, a native of Rome, NY, moved to this area forty three years ago.

She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church

and Pistols and Petticoats Square Dance Club.

She is survived by

her mother, Wanda Converse of Rome, NY;

three sons, Jerald A. Hunter of Columbia, MD,

Dennis M. Hunter, Picayune and

Joseph M. Hunter of Purvis, MS;

one daughter, Wanda Hunter Morren of Picayune;

one brother, Donald Converse of Rome, NY;

one sister, Natalie Senesen of Whitesboro, NY;

fourteen grandchildren; and

fifteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

her husband, Jerald Arthur Hunter, Sr.;

father, George B. Converse; and

one son, George Hunter.
