Jeannine M. Hogsten

January 28, 1930 – July 18, 2007

Jeannine Hogsten, age 77, of Picayune died Wednesday, July 18, 2007

at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

The funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21st at 10:00 AM

at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,

with Bro. Buddy Sheriff officiating.

Visitation will be Friday, July 20th from 6-9 PM

at Picayune Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery,

under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Jeannine, a native of Illinois, was a retired nurse

and a member of Union Baptist Church.

She is survived by

her son, Scot Hogsten of Picayune;

one daughter, Jeri (Jamie) Stockstill of Carriere;

two brothers, Edward Brattrud and

Craig Brattrud, both of Illinois;

two sisters, Mary Althafer of Florida and

Janice Wubbena of Texas;

five grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsey,

Megan, Holly and Heather; and

five great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Devyn,

Adida, Dasha and Cameron.

She also leaves behind a large extended medical professional family.

She is preceded in death by

her husband, Charles R. Hogsten and

a son, Greg Hogsten.
