Gladys Hero, 68, of Carriere died Thursday, September 6, 2007

at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA.

The funeral services will be held Monday, September 10^th,

at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Way with Rev. Mike Jackson,

Rev. Bill Jackson and Rev. Dale Claybaugh officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 9th from

6 to 9 p.m. at the Church of the Way.

Burial will be at Sones Chapel Cemetery, under the direction

of Picayune Funeral Home.

Gladys, former resident of Denham Springs, LA,

was a retired paralegal and a member of Church of the Way.

She is survived by

two sons, William Smith and Duane Smith, both of Poplarville;

one sister, Sue Hartman of Albuquerque, New Mexico;

one brother, Jim Hero of Amarillo Texas, and

four grandchildren.
