Ruby J. Broadhead

March 5, 1942 – June 27, 2007

Ruby Broadhead, age 65, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2007

at her residence in Carriere.

Services will be Friday, June 29th at 8 PM at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel,

with Bro. Brian Williams officiating.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM at Picayune Funeral Home.

Ruby, a native of Greenville, AL, was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She moved here from Chalmette, LA and was a loving wife, mother,

daughter, and sister. She battled cancer for two years but she and her husband

were able to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary on May 4, 2007.

She is survived by

her mother, Eva Mae Jones of Picayune;

husband, O. B. Broadhead of Carriere;

daughter, Debra (Terry) Hart of Carriere;

three brothers, Alvin (Adriann) of Slidell, LA,

Doyle (Dodie) Jones of Bay Minette, AL, and

Michael (Gwen) Jones of Slidell, LA;

two sisters, Glenda (Marion) Necaise of Carriere and

Sheila Wells of Carriere;

sister-in-law, Connie Jones of Slidell, and

a host of nieces and nephews and

great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by

her father, Malvin Jones and

brother, Larry Jones.
