George S. Speights

July 5, 1912 - October 15, 2006

George S. Speights, age 94, died Sunday, October 15, 2006, in McNeill, MS.

The graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2006,

at 3 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Bro. Danny Johnson will officiate at the service. .

Mr. Speights was a retired oilfield driller with Gulf Oil Co. and Walker Hulkness.

He also was a Baptist and a 2nd degree Mason.

He is survived by:

one daughter, Georgia Strickland, Houston, TX;

two brothers, Earl Speights, Rockport, TX

and Floyd Speights, Missouri;

three sisters, Lucille Steeby, Zapata, TX,

Wilda Speights, Missouri,

and Margaret Cook, Kansas;

two grandchildren;

and two great-grandchildren.
