Elsie Jarrell Kennedy

May 13, 1917 – December 4, 2006

Elsie Jarrell Kennedy, age 89, died Monday, December 4, 2006, in Picayune, MS.

The service will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006, at 10 AM at

Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Webber Jarrell will officiate at the service,

with burial will follow at Henleyfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2006, from 6-9 PM

at Picayune Funeral Home.

Elsie was born in the Byrd Chapel Community of Carriere, MS, and was a music

teacher. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Eastern Star and

a Red Cross participant.

She is survived by:

one son, Larry Newton Kennedy, Byrd Chapel Community;

one daughter, Ora Sue Kennedy Wallace, McNeill;

one brother, Webber W. Jarrell, Byrd Chapel Community;

two sisters, Ruby Ferguson, Henleyfield, MS

and Delphia Schattgen, Pascagoula, MS;

four grandchildren

and eight great grandchildren.
