Leon S. Eccles

June 4, 1925 – December 11, 2006

Leon S. Eccles, age 81, died Monday, December 11, 2006, in Slidell, LA.

The service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2006, at 2 PM at

Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Matt Crider will officiate at the service,

with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2006, from 1-2 PM

at Picayune Funeral Home.

Leon, a resident of Pearl River, was born in Eunice, LA. He was a control operator

for the power plant at Kaiser Aluminum Co. in Chalmette, LA,

and a member of Faith Church, Slidell, LA.

He is survived by:

one son, Danny Eccles, Pearl River, LA;

two daughters, Deborah Lambert, Pearl River, LA

and Deanna Appel, Slidell, LA;

one brother, Lloyd Eccles, Pearl River, LA;

two sisters, Esther Hefner, Willard, Ohio

and Irma Self, Baton Rouge, LA;

six grandchildren, and

six great grandchildren.
